The MAGNA MVI300 Wood Shaving Machine is designed for the efficient production of uniform, high-quality wood shavings. It is ideal for industrial, commercial, and agricultural applications requiring consistent material and reliable continuous operation.
It features a dual-head shaving system, increasing processing capacity and improving overall production performance. Each head is powered by an independent 5 HP, 220 V three-phase electric motor, providing consistent power and greater stability throughout the shaving process.
Its compact and functional structure facilitates installation in industrial workspaces while maintaining practical and efficient operation. It also incorporates a 12-inch-wide discharge conveyor, which continuously transports the wood shavings to the collection area.
The material-feed system and discharge conveyor are powered by a 2 HP gearmotor, providing smooth and reliable movement. Each motor includes a full-voltage starter for easier operation and control.
The machine features a 40 × 100 cm wood-loading compartment, designed to facilitate material feeding during operation. Its cutting-head system is equipped with tungsten-carbide inserts, improving processing efficiency and reducing the need for frequent sharpening.
Each insert provides four usable cutting edges or positions, offering greater durability, reduced maintenance requirements, and improved value during continuous operation.
