AB MAGNA 16' Trough-Style Log Debarker

The AB MAGNA 16' Trough-Style Log Debarker is an industrial machine designed for the efficient debarking of logs and timber sections. It is ideal for sawmills, forestry yards, and wood-processing industries requiring high performance, durability, and continuous operation.

Manufactured from heavy-duty industrial steel, this machine features a robust and reliable structure capable of withstanding demanding operating conditions. Its trough-style design allows logs to be processed efficiently, helping remove bark through its internal operating system.

It features counter-rotating rollers that turn and move the material inside the trough, helping produce a more uniform debarking process. It also incorporates a hydraulically operated side discharge gate, facilitating the removal of processed logs and improving workflow.

The machine is equipped with two 10 HP motors, with one motor powering each debarking head, providing the power required for continuous operation. It also includes a 3 HP hydraulic-system motor that operates the discharge door or gate.

The trough measures 16' long × 4' wide × 4' high, providing a substantial loading capacity. Its teeth are hardfaced with high-hardness steel, offering greater wear resistance and improved performance throughout the debarking process.

It includes a Motor Control Center (MCC), emergency stop, and a lower bark-discharge conveyor, providing a safer, cleaner, and more efficient operation. Its approximate production capacity is 60 m³ per hour, depending on the wood species, material conditions, and feeding rate.
